Tiago Repolho

PhD, University of Lisbon (Portugal)
Tiago Repolho is a Research Scientist at the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Sciences (Marine and Environmental Sciences Center-MARE). He has a BSc (Biology) from the University of Aveiro (Portugal, 2001), a MSc (Biology and Marine Resources Management) from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon (Portugal, 2007) and a PhD in Marine Biology and Aquaculture, from the same institution (2012). His major scientific areas of expertise are Marine Biology (Aquaculture, Physiology and Biochemistry) and Environmental related sciences (Climate Change). He is principal investigator and/or team member in several on-going funded projects (marine and environmental sciences), with several national as well as international research/private associates. He has published 35 international peer-reviewed scientific papers [H-index: 14 (Scopus) or 16 (Google Scholar)], several of which published within top ranked scientific journals (e.g. Scientific Reports, Global Change Biology, Proceedings of the Royal Society of London, Plos one). Since 2011, he acts as external reviewer for international peer review journals (Scientific Reports, Journal of the World Aquaculture Society, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Science of the Total Environment, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Aquaculture Research). Since 2016, he acts as external evaluator for the EU Research Executive Agency, US National Science Foundation and Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research. As an objective driven professional, he is always looking to undertake new professional challenges and opportunities, permanently seeking to establish new endeavours and cooperation projects with public as well as private partners.
